Lakme Absolute Sculpt Matte Lipstick Pink me up: Reviews & Swatches

Here i am going to review a beautiful lipstick Pink Me Up by Lakme Absolute Sculpt Matte Range. Read on to know how it goes.

Packaging

Well i am not really impressed with the packaging. It comes in a sleek gunmetal twist up packaging which is quite study with a transparent cap on which the brand and range is embossed. Though it's not very attractive but you can easily locate the shade due the transparent cap.

Texture

When it comes to the texture, i would say that it is creamy in texture but when you apply it on the lips, it tugs and does not glides smoothly but you can get over it by applying a layer of lip balm underneath and you have to apply a lip balm as it will dry out your lips being matte in nature. However, i am ok with the fact that matte lippies generally dry out the lips but can be minimized by using a lip balm. Though i do not suffer drastic lip dryness but it can be a con for those with dry lips. It wears quite well for about 5-6 hours with minimal and even fading and it will not leave an ugly ring around your lips due to uneven fading which a good part and i am impressed but still it tends to feather a bit and gets transferred to the cups.

Shade

Shade "Pink Me Up" is a beautiful warm tones berry poppy pink with no shimmer. It really brightens up the face and makes it look fresh and dewy. To carry of this shade, all you need is a flush of pink on your cheeks with a polished base (a bb cream for minimal make up look or foundation if you want a more polished look)and you'll rock the shade. It would fair to medium complexions and even duskier beauties can also try this shade as it is on a warmer side.
