Nykaa So Matte Lipstick "Cranberry Sangria"|Review/Swatches

So now that I've got my hands on four shades of this range though the range have been pretty old and you can find many reviews on internet but.. let me share my take on them. So, here I am going to review the shade "Cranberry Sangria"from this range in this post.

Packaging: It comes in a black square shaped bullet with magnetic black cap embossed with Nykaa in silver colour which looks quite classy and at the same time it's really handy and travel friendly. The shade name tag is stucked at bottom of the bullet for identification but I feel is not very convenient to look at the bottom of the bullet to identify the shade. Rest the tubes comes in a cardboard carton.

Texture: The texture of the lipstick is creamy and it glides smoothly on the lips and does not tug which is a good side. While the formula is quite comfortable to wear, it is not transfer proof and comes off everytime your lips comes in contact with anything. It does feather a bit in a hot weather while you're sweating so blotting it down is a good idea, though it does not happen in a cool weather. It does not settle into fine lines and leaves a stain behind when it fades. But, as the name claims "so matte", its not so matte and has a satiny finish unless you blot it down to achieve the matte effect. Stays for 4-5 hrs and fades with everything you eat or drink. It can barely survive a meal but it fades evenly and does not get patchy. Although, in this price range, the lipstick does a nice job.

Colour: The shade Cranberry Sangria is deep berry red shade with slight brownish undertones, somewhat true to real cranberry color and it will suit all complexions. A very beautiful shade.

Staying power: 4-5 hrs.
