Today i am reviewing my recent purchase Lotus Herbals Pure Colors Carnation 640.
Well..after reading many good reviews about this particular shade from lotus herbals, i was eager to try this product and now i finally got this one.
Lotus Herbals Pure Color range has a variety of pretty lip shades for everyone and this one is a really really pretty shade.
About the product: Pure Colors’ is a range of 12 exciting moisturizing lip colors in pinks and browns. There are 6 shades of each type. They have natural extracts of Jojoba and Aloe Vera. The unique product qualities are: – Uniform dispersion of pigments – Rich payoff – Smooth application
Price: 245/-
Packaging: Its has a sturdy Beige and Golden packaging, easy to carry in a bag. As the body seems not being very strong, it has a risk of getting damaged. it comes with a sticker on the bottom mentioning the shade name/code which is quite inconvenient as you have to look out for the shade everytime you want to wear it ans also it has risks of getting faded or scratched.
Texture: It has smooth creamy texture yet sporting a semi-matte finish. it glides smoothly on your lips and will give a full coverage on 2-3 swipes, P.S my lips are quite pigmented, so i need 2-3 glides to get the actual shade. If you have dry lips, you need to apply a lip balm underneath as it will dry out your lips after 3-4 hours. Doesn't settles into fine lines.
About Shade: Here are the swatches above (1) single swipe, (2) double swipe
It is a peachy coral carroty shade,well pigmented and gives full coverage in double swipes on my lips. Color can be carried out for everyday, gives a brighter look to your face. Its a pretty pretty shade, will suit fair to wheatish skin tones. It Stays on for about 3 hours and leaves a natural pinkish hint on lips.
How it looks on me:
Overall its a pretty shade for all and a must have shade for everyone.

Stays for around 4-5 hours

Differentiates with the different skin tones
Cons:
If you have very dry lips, you need to apply a lip balm underneath
